Standard administration:

1) NetNubbys are local or global.

2) Local Notes are immediate Notes that–
    a) are not on the network;
    b) are saved to the local machine;
    c) are authored by the account;
    d) can only be seen by the author;
    e) are intrinsically private and personal;
    f) are unlimited in quantity;
    g) do not automatically expire;
    h) do not require an account to read or write; and
    i) are useful for personal reference and research

3) Global Notes are Notes that–
    a) are on the network;
    b) are saved to the service;
    c) are authored by the account;
    d) may be seen by the author, a specific group or the whole world;
    e) share network resources as well as locations (URLs);
    f) are limited in quantity;
    g) automatically expire;
    h) generally require an account to read or write; and
    i) are useful for public and private communications

4) Global Notes and Local Notes cannot be viewed at the same time at the same location (mutually exclusive).

5) Global Notes are public or private.

6) Global Notes require an account to read and write (Public Notes can be read without an account).

7) Public Notes are intended for the world to see.

8) Each location can have no more than 20 Public Notes (first come, first served).

9) An account can have just 1 active Public Note per location.

10) An account may have no more than 100 active Public Notes total (may be upgraded).

11) Global Notes automatically expire after 5 calendar days (may be upgraded).

12) Private Notes are intended to be either personal, exclusive or for a crowd. For example:
    a) A Personal Note is an individual Private Note you post to yourself
    b) An Exclusive Note is an individual Personal Note you post to someone else
    c) A Crowd Note is a group Exclusive Note you post to more than one person (such as your tribe)

13) An account can view no more than 60 Private Notes at a location (not visible at the same time); the account may–
    a) post up to 20 Personal Notes;
    b) receive up to 20 Exclusive Notes; and
    c) receive up to 20 Group Notes
